Prefects

The Prefect team at Applemore have a number of significant functions and play an important role helping to make the College such a friendly successful school.

After a rigorous application and interview process the following students were awarded the responsibility of being a Prefect this year:

                 Head Girl: Mehar Chawla                     Head Boy: Marshall Donnelly

The Linked Prefect Team 2016;

Senior Lead Team

Prefects are expected to be a role model, having a visible presence around the College, supporting the transition between Primary and Secondary School, break duties, club duties, escorting visitors, school tours, supporting the College Council, arranging the ‘prom’ and fundraising for charity. They have already received their training and been involved in some decisions about how the school is run. They will also be delivering their own assemblies. It is anticipated that the role will adapt to the changing needs of the College and provide many opportunities for the students to develop and establish their leadership skills.
